The cool thing about small canvases is that I don't feel intimidated by them, so I will just make whatever. Here is one of those whatever things that I made yesterday just for fun.
6"x12", acrylic and spray paint.

Squirrel the Ripper tattoo!

We went out to dinner in Fullerton with our friend Josh tonight, and he joked about how he was itching to get a new tattoo but he wasn't sure what he wanted. I said "You should get Squirrel the Ripper!" and he actually thought it was a good idea! There just happened to be a tattoo place right across the street.

So after dinner we headed over to Classic Tattoo Studio where a nice fella named Gabe Munoz worked his magic on Josh's forearm. It turned out totally awesome! Check out the pictures.

My buddy Alex Funderburk and I decided to do a little switcheroo. He is making me a zombie to give my husband for his birthday. In return, I made him a collage filled with things he likes, such as battle cats, goat heads, gargoyles, and panties.

Alex loves World of Warcraft. After leveling his Undead Rogue, Satyricon, to 80, he started some new characters. He currently has an Undead Mage, Gahl, among others. But I like it best when he talks about his Blood Elf, Holy Wars, and his Hammer of Justice. How did I find out Alex had this dirty little secret? One day I overheard him say "I slayed a bunch of centaurs last night..."

Alex has an art show at The World Gallery in Costa Mesa on May 30th.

Here is what I made for him. Scroll down to see the zombie he made me!

Sometimes things look way cooler when you just crop them weird.

I did those a couple years ago. They were meant to be companion pieces to my "Death Disco" graphic, but they didn't turn out as cool. Still kind of fun to see though. I used my friends Rachael and Janelle for the faces.

Here’s a picture of James Mercer from The Shins wearing the “Death Disco” tee. I don’t know who to credit for this photo, but it came from the Pitchfork website.

Wow! My friend Todd started his own clothing company called Toddland. Tonight on American Idol, Randy Jackson was wearing the Toddland royal blue "Fischer" cardigan! He bought it from Fred Segal. So exciting! Congrats Todd!

Check out Toddland on their online store.
It's also for sale at Urban Outfitters.

Now in color!

Here's another one from the archive. This is a print I did in 2006 for Paul Frank's Summer 2007 line.

It started out with this black and white art. This was all hand-drawn on lots and lots of tracing paper, and pieced together in little bits at a time. It is actually a repeat print!

Then someone added color to it so it matched the season's color palette.

Then it got used on sportswear and accessories. The one-color version shown first was made into a tank top.

Here is something I did today... 11"x14". I'm thinking about adding color to it, but I don't know what kind yet. It will get a little bigger if you click it :)

I doodled this while watching my favorite show "Ghost Hunters" last week.
